Job summary

AlphaGraphics Uptown Houston is seeking a Pre-Press Specialist with strong Graphic Design skills to join our team in Houston, TX. This hands-on role reviews, corrects, and preps customer files for production while assisting with design and print projects.

You will work primarily with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and PitStop Pro, ensuring accuracy of dimensions, bleeds, color, and fonts. This onsite position offers a long-term career path with our team.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in graphic design and print production.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy before production.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review and preflight artwork for print production.
• Prepare and correct files for digital and large-format printing.
• Check dimensions, bleeds, resolution, color, and fonts.
• Create/modify artwork to meet production requirements.
• Coordinate with production and sales to resolve issues.
• Assist with digital printing and finishing as needed.
• Ensure finished jobs meet job ticket specifications.
• Manage multiple jobs and deadlines with accuracy.
