AlphaGraphics Uptown Houston is seeking a Pre-Press Specialist with strong Graphic Design skills to join our team in Houston, TX. This hands-on role focuses on reviewing, correcting, and preparing customer files for production while assisting with design and print-related projects.

Ideal candidates have solid Adobe Creative Cloud skills and knowledge of print production, with attention to detail and strong teamwork. The position is full-time, in-person, and located in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Solid understanding of graphic design and print production.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors before production.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with digital presses, large-format printing, or finishing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and preflight customer artwork for print production.
• Prepare and correct files for digital and large-format printing.
• Check dimensions, bleeds, resolution, color, fonts, and overall file setup.
• Create and modify artwork as needed to meet production requirements.
• Work primarily in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and PitStop Pro.
• Communicate with production and sales teams to resolve artwork and job issues.
• Assist with digital printing and finishing as needed.
• Help ensure finished jobs meet the specifications on the job ticket.
• Manage multiple jobs and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and organization.

The Position

AlphaGraphics Uptown Houston is looking for a Pre-Press Specialist with strong Graphic Design skills to join our team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who understands that good print production starts with properly prepared artwork. You'll be responsible for reviewing, correcting, and preparing customer files for production, while also assisting with design and print-related projects.

Schedule & Compensation

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Full-Time | Approximately 40 hours/week
