Job summary

AlphaGraphics Uptown Houston is seeking a Pre-Press Specialist with strong Graphic Design skills to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on reviewing, correcting, and preparing customer files for production while supporting design and print projects.

The ideal candidate brings solid Adobe Creative Cloud experience and attention to detail, can manage multiple jobs to meet deadlines, and is eager to build a long-term career with our in-person team in Houston.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of graphic design and print production.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production specs.

Responsibilities

• Review and preflight customer artwork for print production.
• Prepare and correct files for digital and large-format printing.
• Check dimensions, bleeds, resolution, color, fonts, and file setup.
• Create and modify artwork to meet production requirements.
• Work with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and PitStop Pro.
• Communicate with production and sales to resolve artwork issues.
• Assist with digital printing and finishing as needed.
• Ensure finished jobs meet job ticket specifications.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy.
