Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas seeks a Pre Press Department Manager to lead all pre-press operations, including Cylinder Technicians and Setup Department Technicians, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production aligned with customer specifications.

The role requires 3–5 years in production supervision, strong leadership, and proficient use of Windows-based tools. You will drive continuous improvement, manage staffing, and partner with HR to address performance and safety training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in applied science or related field.
• 3–5 years in production supervision in a rotogravure or related printing environment.
• Proficient with Windows-based software (Word, Excel, Access, Visio).
• Ability to lead and direct personnel.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager with production planning and operation.
• Manage 24-hour operations and staffing to minimize downtime.
• Review employee time daily and approve weekly in UKG.
• Ensure staff annual performance reviews and coaching as necessary.
• Address safety, quality and maintenance training as scheduled.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and materials for pre press.
• Support quality initiatives based on customer specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement through the Global Performance System.
