Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Waco, TX is seeking a Printing Press Operator I to support production with press setup, monitor print quality, and maintain sanitation and safety standards. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing 8–12 hours, overtime on weekends, and successful completion of a certification test within 90 days.

You will work with diverse teams and follow GMPs, PRPs, and SOPs to produce high‑quality packaging.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
• Stand 8–12 hours per shift and comply with PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

Position: Printing Press Operator Location: Waco, TX Pay Rate: $21.74 per hour Shift: Rotating Shifts Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Rotation: Shift rotates every four weeks

Summary Description The Printing Press Operator I supports printing operations by assisting with press setup, monitoring print quality, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring safe production of high-quality finished products.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform operations required to set up printing presses for production
• Follow company printing procedures and guidelines
• Assist in setting up jobs and monitor print quality during production runs
• Communicate job-related issues and updates with Press Operator III or IV on shift
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, equipment, and surrounding work area
• Continuously inspect products for visual defects and apply corrective actions as needed
• Refer complex issues to Printing Operator II or III for support
• Follow sanitation procedures and complete sanitation checklists
• Follow GMPs, PRPs, and production SOPs
• Follow all plant safety requirements
• Collaborate closely with other departments and teams
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
