DUNCAN PARNELL INC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Coordinator - Pre-Press Graphic Design to support sales and production by preparing accurate, press-ready files for print and ensuring artwork meets specs. This role requires strong Illustrator/Photoshop skills and meticulous file management.

The ideal candidate will review client files, preflight for color/bleed/layout, create proofs, and coordinate with vendors in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of print experience.
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in design or related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; competent in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize artwork for wide-format printing, packaging, and signage applications.
• Review customer-supplied files and correct issues related to color, resolution, bleed, and layout.
• Preflight and package print files for internal production or outsourced vendors.
• Cross-reference artwork with job specs and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Create digital proofs for internal approval and client sign-off.
• Communicate file status, proof approvals, and production concerns with the sales and coordination teams.
• Update the production job board with artwork completion and release timelines.
• Ensure files are set up correctly for various production equipment (e.g., flatbed printers, cutters, routers).
• Maintain organized file systems and follow version control best practices.
• Perform additional design or production tasks as assigned
