Job summary

Duncan-Parnell is seeking a Pre-Press Graphic Designer to prepare press-ready files for wide-format printing, ensuring accuracy and production readiness. You will review client files, adjust for print compatibility, and generate proofs for approval, coordinating with sales and production teams.

The role requires strong Adobe Illustrator/Acrobat skills, meticulous file organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of print experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field.
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop; competent in Microsoft Office.
• Adheres to Duncan-Parnell’s Mission Statement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize artwork for wide-format printing, packaging, and signage applications.
• Review customer-supplied files and correct issues related to color, resolution, bleed, and layout.
• Preflight and package print files for internal production or outsourced vendors.
• Cross-reference artwork with job specs and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Create digital proofs for internal approval and client sign-off.
• Communicate file status, proof approvals, and production concerns with the sales and coordination teams.
