Modesto Toyota is seeking a motivated Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to identify and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles for inventory. The role involves outreach to private sellers, appraisals, negotiation, and strong customer service.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, with experience in automotive purchasing or inventory management and a solid understanding of market values. This full-time position requires weekend and holiday availability and California licensing where

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Valid California Vehicle Salesperson License or ability to obtain one.
• Previous experience in automotive sales, vehicle purchasing, inventory management preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive makes, models, vehicle conditions and market values preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire quality pre-owned vehicles through online listings, outreach, trade-ins and other channels.
• Contact prospective sellers by phone, online and in-person to generate acquisition opportunities.
• Review vehicle condition reports, evaluate history, mileage, condition and market value.
• Research market trends, wholesale/retail pricing and vehicle demand to support decisions.
• Schedule appraisals and inspections to evaluate conditions and opportunities.
• Negotiate vehicle purchase offers following dealership guidelines.
• Build and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
