Job summary

The Rustic in The Colony, TX (Pre-Opening) is seeking an experienced restaurant Office Administrator to build the back office from day one. You'll ensure team member data is accurate across HRIS, POS, and records, manage onboarding, and keep systems/files in order before opening.

You will support the GM with reports, keep confidential information secure, and help onboard our opening team as the operation scales, maintaining an organized, audit-ready office during a high-volume pre-opening period.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant or hospitality office administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS and restaurant POS back-end systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage a heavy pre-opening workload with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee data across HRIS, POS time clock, scheduling, and inventory from hire date onward.
• Manage new hire onboarding, personnel files, and required certifications (TABC, food handler).
• Handle invoices, daily sales reporting, and deposits.
• Support the GM with reports, communications, and special projects.
• Protect confidential information and keep the office audit-ready and organized.
