Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
• Pre-operative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care in the Pre-Operative Care Unit for patients entering surgery.
• Monitors patient condition and reports significant changes to physicians or anesthesiologists.
• Documents care and progress in the medical record and prepares patient for recovery.
• Provides emotional support to patients and families as needed.
