Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Resident RN for the Outpatient Surgery/Pre-Op unit in Oklahoma City. The role supports surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure safe, compassionate care for patients undergoing outpatient procedures.

The RN I–III levels reflect experience and education, with opportunities for mentorship, ongoing certification, and professional development within a Level I Trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to document patient responses and care plans clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality nursing care under supervision in a hospital setting.
• Assists physicians and performs minor diagnostics and treatments.
• Monitors patients, administers medications, and manages IV infusions.
