Job summary

Summit Medical Center in Edmond, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the In-patient Care Team on the Day shift, for an as-needed position (PRN).

The RN will provide professional nursing care in medical/surgical units, collaborate with staff, and support patient assessments, care plans, and procedures. The role emphasizes patient privacy, accurate charting, and participation in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in Oklahoma.
• CPR and BLS; ACLS within one year.
• ICU and/or ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and evaluate outcomes.
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures and other processes.
• Orient, instruct, and train assigned personnel.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and care plans.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy; respond to changes in patient condition.
• Participate in quality assessment activities and performance improvement.
