Job summary

Surgery Partners seeks a Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory surgery setting. You will prep patients, coordinate pre-operative requirements, and support safe, efficient care under physician orders and departmental policy.

You will report to the Administrator and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes through medication administration, monitoring, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative nursing care and prepare patients according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, documenting accordingly.
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pre-operative patients to optimize outcomes.
• Coordinate pre-operative requirements and ensure all testing and documentation are complete.
