Indiana Specialty Surgery Center in Bloomington, IN is seeking a PRN Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will plan, direct, coordinate and implement pre- or post-surgical nursing care to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
