Job summary

Advanced Surgical Care is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Pre-Op and Post-Op assignments in our state-of-the-art facility. The RN will plan, direct, and coordinate nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients, ensuring adherence to standards of care and patient safety.

The position is weekday-only with no holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements; some evenings may be required. Competitive salary and benefits are offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to make nursing judgments.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients.

Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse at Advanced Surgical Care

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
