Job summary

Carmel Specialty Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is hiring a Part-Time Pre/Post Registered Nurse to support pre- and post-operative care. Weekdays only—no weekends, no holidays, no on-call; some evenings may be required.

The RN will plan, coordinate and deliver compassionate nursing care for patients from infancy to geriatrics, ensuring safety and adherence to standards. Competitive pay and benefits are offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Indiana.
• ACLS certification required.

As Pre/Post Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations.

Registered Nurse PreOp PACU at Carmel Specialty Surgery Center

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
