Job summary

SCA Health in Savannah, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse Pre-Assessment Testing to support perianesthesia care. The role requires reviewing patient histories, coordinating preoperative screenings, and ensuring safe medication administration and patient advocacy across the perioperative continuum.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, at least one year of pre-op or PACU experience, and BLS/BCLS certification with ACLS and PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum one year of pre-op, PACU, or medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days; PALS if pediatrics.
• Perioperative or perianesthesia nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote mission and values of SCA.
• Provide perioperative nursing care and plan.
• Coordinate preoperative data collection and PAT protocol review.
• Ensure patient safety and advocacy; educate patients about meds.
• Delegate tasks per regulations; document care; handoffs.
