Job summary

North Shore Surgical Suites in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled PreOp/PACU RN to provide continuous, high-quality perioperative care for patients undergoing ambulatory procedures in Orthopedics and Spine settings.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from anesthesia reversal through discharge, collaborating with physicians and the perioperative team; 2+ years of relevant RN experience and active Wisconsin RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre Op PACU, Med/Surg or Critical Care; ambulatory surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients in Pre Op PACU.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from prep to discharge.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Support patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout perioperative care.
