Job summary

Orthopedic & Sports Institute in Appleton, WI is seeking a Prep/PACU Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center on a standby schedule. You will protect patient safety in preoperative and recovery areas and collaborate with the surgical team to maintain aseptic, efficient care.

Requires Wisconsin RN licensure and CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications; basic arrhythmia course is a plus. Work Monday through Thursday with no weekends or holidays, in a supportive, patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing in Wisconsin.
• Experience in preoperative and postoperative care.
• CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications required; arrhythmia course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety in preoperative and PACU areas.
• Assist with supervision of nonprofessional staff.
• Maintain aseptic and safe environment for procedures.
• Assess patient and anticipate needs of the surgical team.
