Job summary

The Pre-op PACU Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Centennial coordinates all patient care activities in the PACU during your shift, supervises nursing staff, and ensures adherence to clinical policies to deliver safe, high‑quality care and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred
• Ambulatory and endoscopy experience required
• Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management for patient care in the Pre-op PACU.
• Ensure patient care satisfaction, quality, and safety.
• Assist in completion of performance evaluations, counseling, and coaching of staff.
• Participate in hiring staff and in day-to-day operational supervision.
• Conduct team meetings, staff development, and education.
• Develop and evaluate performance initiatives for assigned units.
