Job summary

Commonwealth Endoscopy Center, an AMSURG-managed ambulatory surgery center, is seeking an RN with MA licensure to support pre-anesthesia care and patient management in a high-standard clinical setting. The nurse will ensure patient safety, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain smooth perioperative flow.

Requirements include an active MA RN license, 1 year of ambulatory surgery experience, CPR/ACLS-PALS, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• RN with active license in MA
• One year of nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
• CPR certification and/or ACLS-PALS certification
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Uses equipment effectively following manufacturer’s instruction for use
• Assists with inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels in the admission area
• Maintains order and cleanliness of PreOp/Admitting area
• Active participation in the pre-anesthesia care process
• Administers medication(s) per physician order
• Documents patient-care records accurately and timely
