Job summary

Lahey Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op Center on a 30-hour work week. The role supports pre-procedural coordination, anesthesia readiness, and non-procedural pre-op operations under supervision within Massachusetts nursing standards.

Responsibilities include clinical judgment, delegation, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. ACLS and BLS required; MA RN licensure mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing.
• Current MA RN licensure per Massachusetts Board of Registration.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification for ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care with organized delivery for assigned patients.
• Develop culturally competent care plans with identified outcomes.
• Perform systematic patient and family assessments relevant to practice settings.
• Deliver age-appropriate care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adapt plans accordingly.
