Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, VT is seeking a Pre-Op Center Registered Nurse for a 30-hour week, three 10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM). The role focuses on pre-procedural coordination, anesthesia readiness, and non-procedural pre-op operations under nurse management oversight.

You will provide safe nursing care, coordinate with the care team, and uphold licensing and BLS requirements. Prior ED experience and ACLS certification are preferred for this pivotal position.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure: Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
• Certification: BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• ED context: Emergency Department experience ACLS certification and 1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care with organizational skills to maintain safe delivery of quality care for assigned patients/families.
• Coordinate care across the care team and support procedures as needed.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and professional relationships within the team.
