Job summary

Ampact's Early Learning Corps seeks an Early Learning Tutor in Miami to support preschool students in a pre-kindergarten classroom, helping build early literacy and math skills with proven activities.

Work with a teacher, receive coaching, track progress, and participate in training to grow professionally. This AmeriCorps role is for the 2026-27 school year, with a 35-hour week and daytime hours.

Part-time options are also available at 25 or 18 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and take feedback to improve.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, navigating online).
• Able to successfully complete a background check.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with community.
