Celebree School is hiring a full-time childcare teacher in Maryland to guide young learners in a loving, structured environment. You will plan age-appropriate activities, maintain a safe classroom, and communicate with parents about development and daily progress.

Required BA in early childhood or related field, MD State Credential Level 5 preferred, and 1 year of experience. We support growth through education, benefits, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• BA in early childhood education or related field is preferred.
• MD State Credential Level 5 is preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages classroom ensuring compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents and visitors.
• Maintains attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational Parent Board.
• Creates and implements thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsels children using positive discipline techniques.
• Ensures cleanliness and safety of the classroom.
• Completes all classroom paperwork (Daily Reports, accident reports, attendance).
• Provides support and direction to the assistant teacher to ensure orderly functions.
• Communicates effectively with parents with updates on development and happenings.
• Identifies opportunities/problems and works with staff to resolve.
