Job summary

GOINS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Cheyenne, Wyoming seeks a Paraeducator for Pre-K for the 2026/2027 contract year. The role supports a certified teacher in reinforcing curriculum for Pre-K students, with duties across general education, ESL, and Title 1 programs.

Work year is 9 months; 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Starting immediately with benefits, salary schedule PA18 and pay at $15.42 per hour, spread over 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior experience required.
• Experience with school-age children preferred.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Monitor and supervise students in classrooms, playgrounds, field trips, lunchroom, and buses.
• Assist in preparing and organizing classroom materials and supplies.
• Record observations and progress for teachers and records.
• Attend meetings and in-service trainings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
