Job summary

The School District of Lee County in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking an instructional support professional for Green Meadow Elementary School. The role supports instructional staff, assists with student engagement, and reinforces teacher-developed plans under supervision.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent with ParaPro, or 60 college hours or an Associate's degree. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree and one year of related experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and passing ParaPro Exam or 60 credit hours/Associate's degree.
Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and related privacy laws.
Ability to respond professionally to student and staff needs.

Responsibilities

Assist in instructional process with students individually or in small groups under supervision.
Assist in preparation and use of instructional aids and technology as directed.
Reinforce positive learning and behavior alongside teachers.
Support students in developing study skills and achieving objectives.
Support parental involvement activities.
Maintain confidentiality of student information as required by law.
