Job summary

Wake County Public School System is seeking an Instructional Assistant-Pre-K Blended to support licensed teachers in a variety of Pre-K classrooms. The role includes assisting with instructional activities, supervising students, and coordinating with the school team to create a safe, engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, aiding in delivery of lessons, and implementing strategies to support diverse learners, including those in Special Education and Title I

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and working toward an associate degree or CDA credential.
• For Title I schools,ESSA requirements apply.
• CPI certification maintenance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Prepares materials and supports individual or small groups as directed.
• Participates in staff development and ensures student safety and well‑being.
• Maintains confidentiality and orderly documentation.
