Job summary

Qualifications

• Education requirements include 48 college credits with 3 math and 3 english.
• An associate degree or higher from an accredited institution is required.
• Successful completion of a DOE approved exam such as ParaPro/ParaPathways is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement learning experiences aligned with teacher plans.
• Set up indoor/outdoor centers and supervise group and individual activities.
• Observe and document children’s development and learning progress.
• Ensure health and safety, assist with routines, and support transitions.
• Prepare materials and learning environments as guided by the teacher.
• Supervise before, during, and after class activities.
