YWCA York seeks a PKC Supervisor to oversee Pre-K Counts sites and Camp Explorers, ensuring high-quality early childhood education and compliance with DHS licensing, Keystone STARS, and NAEYC criteria. The role covers York City, York Suburban, and Eastern York School Districts, supporting staff, families, and community partnerships.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Leadership, Human Services, or related field.
• Significant experience in early childhood program administration.
• Knowledge of Pre-K Counts standards, Keystone STARS, NAEYC accreditation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Required clearances: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprinting, and NSOR.

Mansioni

• Assist in implementing the Pre-K Counts curriculum in accordance with Pennsylvania's Early Learning Standards.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of Keystone STARS designations, NAEYC self-study processes, and grant reporting.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with all DHS, OCDEL, and YWCA York program policies.
• Supervises AGS staff, and camp counselors; maintains staff schedules.
• Establish and maintain open, positive, and responsive communication with families.
• Organizes family engagement activities and quarterly family meetings.
• Represent YWCA York at community events, back-to-school nights, and outreach activities.
• Assist in planning, staff, and operate the 41-week PKC program and the 11-week Camp Explorers program.
• Participates in recruitment, enrollment, and DHS-compliant recordkeeping for Creative Explorers Camp.
• YWCA York adheres to NAEYC and Pennsylvania state standards of excellence for early childhood education and supports teachers and staff.
