Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Pre-K Childcare Staff for our before and after school program at Collingswood Early Childcare Center (Collingswood, NJ) for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role is part-time in a school-calendar schedule, with morning and/or afternoon shifts. Eligible employees benefit from employer-paid childcare and a range of voluntary benefits as they support children ages 5-12.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required.
• Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks.
• Must meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children.
• Positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

PAYRATE: $16.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:00 - 9:00 am

Afternoon Program: 2:30 - 5:45 pm

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.
