Job summary

University of Denver’s Biological Sciences Department seeks a Pre-Health Student Success and Program Coordinator to provide advising, program coordination, and departmental support to advance student success.

The role collaborates with the Director of Pre-Health Education & Advising, Department Chair, faculty, and students to plan workshops, track data, manage records, and ensure efficient operations in a dynamic academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of professional experience in student services, advising, program coordination, higher education administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group advising support for pre-health students and alumni pursuing healthcare careers.
• Assist students with academic planning, professional school preparation, and applications.
• Coordinate pre-health workshops, information sessions, outreach activities, and communications.
• Maintain student and alumni records, outcome tracking, and program assessment data.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling and program coordination.
