Job summary

Responsibilities include coaching individuals and groups, planning workshops, collaborating across departments, and teaching BIO 102C.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and four years of experience in academic advising, career services, or pre-health professions advising.
• Demonstrated project management abilities, interpersonal skills, professional demeanor and excellence in oral and written communication.
• Experience planning large-scale events.
• Experience teaching or presenting in classroom settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be able to occasionally travel, including overnight travel.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Advise pre-health students on prerequisites and application process.
• Lead coaching sessions individually and in groups; discuss admissions data with students.
• Represent CNS health professions programs at meetings and conferences.
• Collaborate with the Career Ecosystem team and student organizations.
• Coordinate HP Fair with CNS Events team and vendors.
• Teach BIO 102C for the Biology Scholars Program.
• Serve as HPO email triage lead.
• Support special projects and CNS events.
