Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Pre-Foreclosure Specialist II in Dover, DE. You will monitor vendors and CMS activities during breach processing, process eligible foreclosure referrals, and validate referrals to meet investor and regulatory requirements.

The role requires attention to timelines, accurate documentation, and collaboration across servicing groups. The position emphasizes compliance with state and federal laws, detailed recordkeeping, and timely communication with clients

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Foreclosure experience or a combination of three (3) years’ banking/mortgage experience
• Notary Public or prior Paralegal experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, reviews, follows up, and ensures timely and accurate completion of all regularly scheduled steps within the foreclosure referral process on a daily basis.
• Effectively communicates with default and servicing support groups and clients during the foreclosure referral proceedings.
• Discretionary tasks to support breach processing and adherence to SLAs.
• Documents all servicing actions and communications in the system notes.
• Monitors vendor performance and notifies management of issues.
