Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Pre-Engineered Technician to install, inspect, test, and repair pre-engineered fire suppression systems, including kitchen hoods, extinguishers, and emergency lighting. You will follow NFPA standards and manufacturer specs while communicating findings to customers and coordinating with sites nationwide.

The role requires High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of relevant experience; TN/GA licenses are preferred, with opportunities for on-the-job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience installing, inspecting, testing, and repairing pre-engineered systems per NFPA and manufacturer specifications.
• TN and GA licenses highly preferred; clean driving record and active license if driving.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and repair pre-engineered systems per NFPA and manufacturer specifications.
• Replace/charge agents and verify detection and actuation.
• Read and apply manuals and service bulletins; complete reports and documentation.
• Communicate system condition and recommendations to customers.
• Travel to job sites as required and maintain tools and workspace.
