Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Superior customer service standards expected.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
• Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F.
• Ability to sit or stand for the entire shift, bend, and twist neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day.
• Frequent hand and foot movement; ability to make fast, precise, coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs maximum.
• Hearing acuity essential.
• Correctable near and far vision and color perception/discrimination.
• Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform complex tasks under variable and changing conditions.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-donation medical screening.
