Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
• Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to biological fluids and plasma center environment.
• Ability to wear PPE and work in cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-donation medical screening per guidelines.
• Determine hematocrit and protein via finger stick.
• Operate and monitor plasmapheresis equipment.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and accurate records.
• Greet donors and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and SOPs.
• Dispose of contaminated materials and maintain clean work areas.
• Cross-train in related center operations.
