Job summary

Emerald Isle Foods LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking a Pre-Cut Machine Operator to run the full machine-cut packaging line, producing high volumes of quality machine-cut fruits and vegetables with strict GMP and sanitation.

You will follow proper production methods, maintain knowledge of the product line, and uphold high quality standards for cut size, color, and ripeness while working with minimal supervision from the Pre-Cut Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in food preparation or processing, preferably in produce
• GMP knowledge in produce environment
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs
• Follow instructions under supervision

Responsibilities

• Operate the Pre-Cut packaging line to produce high volumes of machine-cut products
• Maintain knowledge of products in the Pre-Cut line
• Uphold quality standards including cut sizes, color, and ripeness
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Work with minimal supervision from Pre-Cut Supervisor/Manager
