Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a high-impact Pre-Construction Team Leader to guide a team of Commodity Managers and Coordinators responsible for Site Works subcontractors, site erected buildings, and engineering suppliers supporting NAM Projects.

The leader will shape world-class sourcing strategies, drive cost competitiveness, supplier capability, and sustainable results aligned with SQDC, spanning tender and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Pre-Construction Management and Strategic Sourcing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role related to Projects and/or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Commodity Managers and Coordinators for Site Works and suppliers.
• Manage site works sourcing KPIs including cost deflation, Days to Pay (DTP), vendor recovery, sourcing on-time delivery (OTD).
• Develop strategic commodity plans, dashboards, and should-cost models.
• Negotiate subcontract agreements and drive cost-competitive outcomes.
• Align sourcing strategies with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management.
• Promote Lean and continuous improvement within the sourcing function.
