Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Lead Sourcing Analyst/Buyer in the United States to drive supplier selection, cost-out initiatives, and procurement strategies. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to achieve savings and performance targets.

The candidate will manage supplier onboarding, quotation processes, and purchase orders while maintaining a Lean mindset focused on process improvements and governance across projects and parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management and tendering.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel formulas, VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills with ability to build strong supplier relationships.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive sourcing and procurement activities on assigned commodities and suppliers to deliver a competitive advantage in the Americas.
• Apply advanced sourcing best practices toward operational excellence.
• Negotiate pricing and terms and implement framework agreements with key suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders and support the full lifecycle of orders.
• Improve KPIs such as on-time delivery, savings, deflation, terms, and cost-out during tendering.
• Coordinate supplier selection and development to ensure optimization and long-term relationships.
• Develop spend analyses and apply sourcing methodologies for cost reductions and cash flow improvements.
• Collaborate with global teams to define and implement sourcing strategies.
