Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Manager, Pre-Construction in Lockhart, TX to lead tenant fit-out planning and scheduling across multiple sites. You will coordinate design, procurement, and permit strategies to ensure buildable, schedule-driven execution before construction begins.

The role requires a strong background in data center pre-construction and a track record of leading teams through complex, multi-site projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of pre-construction experience in data center or mission-critical construction.
Strong scheduling background with Primavera P6 or comparable tools.
Experience with constructability reviews, value engineering, and long-lead procurement planning.
Familiarity with permitting processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-construction planning for tenant fit-out projects, including master scheduling and procurement planning.
Partner with Estimating and Design to develop buildable, schedule-aligned designs.
Develop and maintain master project schedules for deployments across multiple sites.
Lead constructability reviews and value engineering sessions with GC and subcontractors.
Manage long-lead procurement planning to protect project schedules.
Coordinate permitting strategy and AHJ requirements for fit-out scopes.
Manage and mentor a team of pre-construction professionals.
