Job summary

BankFirst Financial Services is hiring a Pre-Closing Representative in Addison, AL to review consumer and selected commercial loan documentation and prepare closing packages in a timely manner. Responsibilities include verifying terms, preparing notes and collateral documents, and coordinating third-party filings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in consumer and commercial loan documentation.
• Broad knowledge in loan compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle heavy volumes of work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify loan documents required to support approved terms and conditions, including reviewing entity and collateral documentation and compliance with approvals.
• Prepare documentation for new, renewal and modified loans using internal software.
• Produce complete, accurate loan document packages including notes, loan agreements, and security documents.
• Assist with third-party services such as UCC filings and flood determinations and other external documentation.
• Serve as a resource to lending personnel by providing guidance on documentation, policy or procedures.
• Notify lenders of potential problems and make recommendations for resolution.
• Participate in training sessions, webinars or projects related to pre-closing and compliance.
• Provide support to Department Manager and assist with bank initiatives and training.
