Job summary

BankFirst seeks an experienced loan documentation analyst to perform pre-closing reviews of consumer and selected commercial loans, ensuring conformance with documentation, policy standards, and approval requirements.

You will prepare closing packages for BankFirst markets, reviews of collateral documentation, and support third-party services while maintaining turnaround times and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in consumer and commercial loan documentation.
• Broad knowledge of loan compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle heavy volumes under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient PC and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify loan documents to support terms and conditions and adherence to approved policies.
• Prepare documentation for new, renewal, and modified loans using internal software.
• Create complete, enforceable loan document packages including notes, loan and security agreements.
• Assist with third-party services (UCC filings, flood determinations, Secretary of State standings).
• Serve as a resource to lending personnel on documentation and policy issues.
• Notify lenders of potential problems and recommend resolutions.
• Participate in training on pre-closing and compliance.
• Support the Department Manager and aid bank initiatives.
