Job summary

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Part Time Pre-Clerk in Knoxville, TN. Responsibilities include answering calls on a multi-line system, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers.

The role is 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with starting pay at $17.66 per hour. Vacation after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency.
• Type at least 30 words per minute with accuracy.
• Dependable and well-organized.
• Must be computer literate.
• Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi-line system and redirect to contacts.
• Perform data entry and process driver paperwork.
• Assist dispatchers and support operations as needed.

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Part Time Pre-Clerk to work in our Knoxville, TN Service Center. Responsibilities will include answering calls on a multi-line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may apply as requested by management.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well-organized
• Must be computer literate
• Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills
• Basic knowledge or Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products

Preferred

• 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast pace environment
• Freight logistics experience
