Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking an Appointment Clerk for the Wheeling, IL Service Center. The role handles multi-line phone calls, data entry, scheduling delivery appointments, and helping customers with pickups. Monday–Friday, various shifts, full-time.

The position offers a starting hourly rate of $18.76 with PTO after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacations, and access to exclusive employee resorts.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask with a sense of urgency.
• Type at least 30 WPM with accuracy.
• Dependable, well organized, and punctual.
• Must be computer literate and proficient with office tools.
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi-line system and perform data entry.
• Schedule delivery appointments and assist customers with pickups.
• Provide customer service and support as requested by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities will include answering calls on a multi-line system, data entry, scheduling delivery appointments, and assisting customers with pickups.
