Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in the area; or equivalent combination of experience/training.
• Experience developing budgets and justifications for sponsors; or knowledge of budgeting principles.
• Experience interpreting funding opportunity announcements and coordinating proposal submissions.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative guidance during pre-submission, development, and administrative review.
• Independently reviews funding announcements and guides investigators on eligibility and sponsor requirements.
• Collaborates with Proposal Negotiation Team and sponsors for clarification of application guidelines.
• Develops budgets and budget narratives with investigator information and sponsor guidelines.
• Supports document management and uploading of grant/contract proposals to funding agencies.
• Verifies compliance with regulatory and financial requirements.
• Assists with post-submission actions such as just-in-time requests and revised budgets.
