This role manages a portfolio of sponsored projects, conducts financial analyses, and supports budgets, forecasts, and compliance for faculty accounts.

Reporting to the SBHSE Research Advancement Manager, you will collaborate with faculty, staff, and central offices to ensure accurate financial reporting, advise on post-award

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR any equivalent combination of experience/training.
• Experience with post-award financial management for sponsored projects, grants, contracts, and faculty accounts.
• Ability to review payroll, budget-to-actual, deficit, personnel, and sponsor-specific reports.
• Demonstrated ability to independently analyze complex problems and propose practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a complex portfolio of sponsored projects, discretionary and startup accounts.
• Prepare budgets, projections, and financial scenarios using university systems.
• Review and approve financial and payroll transactions for allowability and allocability.
• Advise faculty and post-award staff on financial matters and sponsor requirements.
• Lead process improvements and contribute to administrative initiatives.
