Job summary

Arizona State University’s Knowledge Enterprise (KE) PMO is seeking a Project Manager, Research to collaborate with faculty and researchers in managing complex proposal development, budgeting, and program management. You will help fund projects, define scope, and write/edit supporting materials for research initiatives.

The role requires strong communication, coordination across teams, and a proactive approach to resource planning and compliance within ASU policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience with scientific research activities and/or product development
• PMP certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience updating websites and/or social media
• Experience in writing and developing proposals for funding from federal and/or philanthropic sources

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and manage a project team from concept to completion
• Define project scope, strategy, budget and outcomes with stakeholders
• Monitor milestones, deliverables, and dependencies; adjust as needed
• Prepare and maintain project status reports and schedules for compliance
• Support the Principal Investigator in coaching and supervising project staff
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders vital to project success
• Identify infrastructure needs including space, equipment and facilities for timely launch
• Prepare post-project budgets and reports for dissemination
