Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Manufacturing associate in our Deerfield Beach facility. You will perform set-up and start-up activities on production equipment, prepare products for processing, and ensure accurate labeling and inventory. The role requires strict adherence to GMPs, safety standards, and precise documentation.

Candidates must be able to lift heavy loads, handle fast-paced shifts, and work well in a team. Commitment to quality and willingness to work varied hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate excellent GMPs and safe working habits.
• Able to push/pull pallets over 1500 lbs.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs frequently.
• Willing to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, extended hours.
• Good human relations and team-player mindset.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and accurate paperwork handling.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Commitment to Publix and mission.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up and start-up activities on equipment in the department.
• Open packages, place product in tubs or racks, and transport to appropriate area.
• Document equipment inspections and report unsafe conditions or damage.
• Document lot numbers and code dates; label and inventory products.
• Read and comprehend production paperwork and documents; audit materials for Quality Assurance.
• Assist operators with daily production tasks.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.
