Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus is seeking an entry-level laboratory caregiver to join a centralized testing team where patient care and accuracy come first. This role offers hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment with support from experienced caregivers.

The position works days, 7:00am—3:30pm. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; preferred candidates have six months of patient care experience and EPIC experience.

A caregiver in this position works days, 7:00am—3:30pm.

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity to perform specimen handling techniques and to take measurements
• May require extended periods of standing, walking and/or sitting.
• Handles and transports bio hazardous materials.
• Visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish colors.
• Must have normal or corrected vision.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as defined in the exposure control plan.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $17.95
Maximum hourly: $25.50
